FamilyLens — Parental Screen Monitoring

Know what your kids are doing on their tablets. FamilyLens is a self-hosted parental monitoring system that captures periodic screenshots from your children's Android tablets and uploads them to a private dashboard only you can access. An Android app installs on the tablets (Android 12+) and captures screenshots at your chosen interval from 1 to 60 minutes, detecting and displaying the active app name. It works offline, queueing screenshots locally and uploading when Wi-Fi returns, and resumes automatically after a reboot. The password-protected web dashboard shows screenshots in a grid or timeline, filterable by device and date, and supports multiple devices at once. Old screenshots auto-delete after a period you set. Everything runs on your own free-tier cloud accounts — no third party can see your family's data.
